Beautiful place with good food. The dishes we ordered were omelette, grilled calamari and savory pancake, with cappuccino and espresso. They were very nice. And the view of the bay was amazing, we could sit here whole day, coffee in hand and a good book!

We visited this restaurant 3 times during our short stay in Montenegro. Loved it. Food was delicious, service excellent. Two times we were with our kids and the restaurant was very kid friendly. The third time,on our last night, we had romantic dinner. Loved all of it. Hoping to visit again next year. Highly recommended.

MM Park

Quiet place in a quiet area. Very nice lunch. Strange take on a salad - mushrooms, bacon - no Caesar dressing, croutons or parmesan. Meat dish of the day was delicious.

Dorada I ate here was very good. Potatos with spinach as side dish was great. House wine (8 EUR for 1 l as far as I remember) was pleasant.

After a very long wait of many years a great home made Gelato has finally arrived in Montenegro. Italian owners, Silvia and Antonio are welcoming you with a great smile and will be at your disposal to make you try a genuine home made ice cream and great pastry made in Italy.

Very good restaurant with tables over looking the Bay of Kotor.

The food here is good, in summer you can sit out by the water.

This restaurant is open most of the winter.

The Pizzia just past the hotel Conte has very good Pizzas which can be taken away.

There are other restaurants and bars down the seafront which are also worth trying.

Stari Mlini at Ljuta: +382 82 333 555

This is a very good fish restaurant set in beautiful surroundings with a water mill. In 1700's, Stari Mlini was a family operated flour mill for the locals of the quaint medieval town of Kotor, Montenegro. 300 years later, another family preserved the mill in the form of a fairytale restaurant of remarkable charm. For over 3 decades, Stari Mlini Restaurant has offered exclusive yet casual fine dining experience of superb quality.

This restaurant is on the main road to Kotor just before Dobrota on the right hand side.

Very Good and value for money, one of the best restaurants for meat they also do fish.

This restaurant is by the bay but not outside over looking the bay. Take the main road to Dobrota, turning right ( just after the Health centre) at the bottom of the road turn right just past the Ella supermarket and head back along the lower coast road towards Perast. The restaurant is just down the road on the right. Morinj on the road to Hercg Novi after Risan and just after the new road turning there are two good restaurants.

This is probably the best fish restaurant and well worth a visit set in beautiful surroundings with a water mill. This is quite expensive.

Cafana Sutvara in Morinj: +382(0)69045842

This is very good restaurant in High Season and very reasonably priced, it is situated next to the shop set back behind it.

There is now a new smart modern beach bar in Morinj worth a visit by boat, good Pizza’s but very slow for food in High Season. Good sun loungers and floating doughnut for Adults and children. The water is very cold as it is fresh water from the hills.

It is possible to visit these last two restaurants by boat and moor near to the new beach bar.

Kotor Old Town

The restaurant is in the middle of Old Town, good and reasonably priced.

If you enter by the main gates turn left, take the 1st alley on right and about the 2nd narrow alley on the right the restaurant is at the bottom.

There is also another good restaurant in the square near the Dalmatinska konoba “ Cesarica”. Instead of taking the second alley continue to the square then turn right, the restaurant is straight ahead of you.

Outside Old Town at the end of the Harbour take the small road which is just round the bend Tivat end of Kotor, at the end of this lane is restaurant which you will need to book. This is a very good restaurant over looking the harbour which is quite expensive.

This is not a restaurant, since it doesn't serve meals, but it makes up for this with its lively atmosphere and excellent drinks menu. Located in the Old Town of Kotor, this wine bar offers a fantastic selection of the best tasting Montenegrin wines, on which you can be knowingly advised by the winery's competent staff. There is also a small bar serving local cheese, ham and olives to accompany the wine. But the real magic about this place is the combination of excellent wines with live jazz, blues and soul, the striking art on the walls and the simple atmosphere of pure enjoyment.

The Boat restaurant

This is a good restaurant also near the main promenade the opposite side to Porto Montenegro. The restaurant is made of wood in the shape of a boat.
